I had a house mate and his grandmother was a famous black woman in Mississippi.. Half the people here have heard of her.. He left for Berkeley when he was 18, He got caught swimming in the white boys pool.. in the creek.. And the boy threatened to have him hung so he beat the shit out of the white boy and he left the state, then he did two tours in Vietnam. Has had a remarkable life and a very good friend of mine.
