did you all hear about the new CBC production tv series Little Mosque on the Prairie

Posted in Politics at 4:03 pm by Michael Johnson

lol yeah, that’s. .not really restaurant quality food http://ristlabuca.com/page/ntfs/Dinner.html

The other thing is the bread. I want good bread. If the bread is good, I can put up with a lot.

yeah, bread’s important. Also, pasta from scratch.

bersnergefrizzle

shmorp

sorry, i do not speak shmorp translator! so timur i see jimmy carter has a new book out hehe

What a lame pick up line…

what makes you think i am trying to pick him up

yeah, and for that, I want to drive over him with a large truck with spiked wheels.

I think the Heinz Ketchup people make this jarred Teriaki sauce, that kind of tastes like ginger Ketchup. Every processed-food that wants to try to taste ‘Japanese’ uses this crap, I think.

so what do you suppose carter was thinking why is he doing this

carter who? Jimmy Carter?

yes i don’t think he just has a heart full of evil or something… he must think he is doing the right thing… but it’s like he didn’t get the memo or something that you can’t negotiate with terrorists…

I’m trying to think of an answer that doesn’t start a long tedius Israel/Palestinian discussion.

well ke6i-1 you could reply with a funny joke/anecdote about the israeli-palestinian crisis thus defusing the seriousness of the question/comment so far eg two jews and a muslim walk into a bar, and the bartender says…

So a jew and a palestinian walk into a bar… the palestinian blows up.

“And the first guys says, that’s some crazy Hijab you’re wearing there”

sorry bout that

I was reading some article on the Jordan river. That apparently much of the Jordan river is now filled with sewage

he’s prone to the same naive, misguided, even if at least partially well-intentioned idiocy endemic to the far left, in both the US and Europe (among other places) which excuses Palestinian terrorism because they’re perceived as the underdog, since there are only, you know, 200 million Arabs surrounding Israel.

yes carter does not seem to understand that israel has won the war, and all this ‘they took our land’ stuff is old news it’s like he is living in 1949 it might, arguably, have been a valid debate back then but it isn’t anymore too much shit has gone on since then

http://www.iris.org.il/images/arabwld3.gif I think it’s like he has a pole up his ass which is reaching his brain I think it’s like he has a pole up his ass which is reaching his brain anyway, gotta go to work. later!

WASHINGTON | Billions of dollars earmarked for projects around the country could be delayed, slashed or even killed because Congress probably won’t fulfill its basic responsibilities in the session’s closing days. pity

a project killed is a good day’s work — is my thinking. what we need are fewer projects

Differences have emerged between Tony Blair and George Bush on strategy in the Middle East, even as the two leaders agreed that a major change of course was necessary in Iraq in the wake of the devastating critique delivered this week by a high-level bipartisan panel in Washington. we are going to have to add tony blair to the axis of evil that is a bad lap dog, no biscuit

Tony Blair is going away I saw in a story. I assume Labor is replacing him soon? I don’t follow UK politics so I’mnot sure waht Blair leaving changes exactly.

well i am guessing all the letterhead that says “tony blair, prime minister of the united kingdom” will have to be reprinted

he is expected to depart by early summer

Dec. 8 (Bloomberg) — Republicans may leave a parting gift when they relinquish control of Congress next month: a stack of spending measures stuffed with lawmakers’ pet projects that will challenge Democrats’ commitment to cut political pork. The Republicans’ likely decision today to defer Congress’s unfinished budget work to January means the Democrats will be considering the measures, which are loaded with spending projects known as “earmarks,” at the same time they have promised to consider new ethics rules to make the often-secret earmarking process more open.

This is voluntary I assume. that Thatcher was around forever, I remember.

the republican party seems to have become the party of pork barrel spending which is sort of ironic

Null_Ptr, hehe, just wait a year

but there’s absolutely nothing to challenge the assessment _3Josephs no doubt we shall see… this all seems to happen in cycles

It’s always a good compromise. Fund A or fund B? Fund A and B!

not really, its happened since the 1st congress and in every single one since then

ke6i-1 that’s the first rule of government spending… why buy one when you can buy two at twice the price

and earmarks will certainly not disappear - its one of the major powers of the committee chairmen

i think more transparency is no doubt a good thing

And I remember thinking that the pork might get better when R’s won the house. Now we know there is no hope.

and that’s what the democrats have promised to do during the campaign season… if they keep their promise, it will be a good thing… just need to see if they keep their promise.

Dem’s lie, get used to it

zero chance of controlling spending.

(and so do Repubs)

it is just over You know about AIDS, I remember how everyone was sooo sure Mosquitos didn’t pass AIDS. And now they are talking about Malaria being related to AIDS.

“they”

sticking things up one’s butt is the cause of most cases - pretty easy to avoid it

Science — journal, talking about link between Malaria and AIDS.

_3Josephs not true for the majority of people with AIDS, who got it via heterosexual sex

yeah I know, its been on drudge since last night

Malaria apparently super-charges the AIDS virus. I guess

if you exclude africa - where apparently everyone sleeps with anything - its almost entirely caused by taking it in the ass or shooting up drugs

I guess this explains why Africa has so many AIDS cases. And it’s not just ‘massive anal sex’

the article says that immune systems weakened by HIV infection are more vulnerable to malaria, increasing mortality and vice versa not that one causes the other

Thing I’m reading says that if you have Malaria and AIDS together. That massive HIV is surging through your body.

Null_Ptr, you are only supposed to read the headline - not hte article ;-)

_3Josephs doh _3Josephs too late maybe we should ban information from teh intarweb only have soundbites oh wait… we’re almost there

that’s why drudge is so popular - all the news you need in under 10 words per story

some of the stories are pretty long but i agree they never have more than 10 words of “information”

well I mean drudge’s version (i.e., just hte headline)

well drudge could eliminate the hot links and just publish a page of headlines

it would be interesting to see his stats - i.e., how many actually click thru to the story itself (I suspect its pretty low)

WASHINGTON — U.S. President George W. Bush appeared to distance himself yesterday from key elements of a blue-ribbon panel’s report on the war in Iraq, rejecting the idea of opening direct talks with Iran and Syria and resisting the idea of troop withdrawals until Washington’s goals are met.

yeah, imo, no real change with Iraq until Bush is gone. And maybe not even then.

Talking to Iran is pretty stupid in my opinion pretty much like talking to hitler

Hillary will probably nuke someone at random her first week in office to prove she has balls

indeed, we need to just take them out _3Josephs i hope it’s iran and north korea maybe syria for good measure also

Null_Ptr, more likely some obscure african country

We can attack China — to get our bonds back.

naw we can just declare the bonds null and void

Print them with disapearing ink

china can never take any military action against us or we will just issue a law confiscating their “assets”, including US bonds

I thought Bush was going to bomb Iran. At least up until a few months ago. Now I’m not sure.

he needs to it’s getting late in the game, he should have done it the day after midterms

Bush could set it up, Bay of Pigs style, for next President to actually pull the trigger.

it could have been like “rummie, you’re fired, and by the way, planes are in the air to take out iran and north korea. i’ll be in crawford. have a good weekend!”

Though maybe this is not a good example.

SIX people were injured when a freak tornado hit a street in northwest London, ripping roofs off houses, uprooting trees and sending debris flying, witnesses and officials said. that was god, telling tony blair to quit being such a pussy. it’s so hard to get good lap dog these days i see he gave the medal of freedom to BB King… i’m guessing Jimmy Carter is going to have to wait another year at least for his he = the president

The deadly Taco Bell scallions were from California. Just like the killer spinach. hmm.

My shitty meat based diet is sounding better every day

well it’s not like people who eat at taco bell think they’re getting the best quality food anyway so i dunno what the big deal is i can’t believe this doesn’t happen more often

Its not really a taco bell problem there just downstream from the beginning of the car pile up

hmm, ok, the people are only getting sick if they ate there … sounds like a Taco Bell problem to me

its a vendor caused problem to taco bell come on its not hard to see that

joe bloe on the street doesn’t buy from the vendor - they buy from Taco Bell

sure whatever

a restaurant is always expected to use safe ingredients perhaps this “could have been anyone” but it’s also possible it will be found they cut corners and used whoever was cheapest, without regard to quality or safety, and if that is found, then they are screwed at least for a day or two then everyone will forget all about it and go back to eating their nasty “food” they should have to put quotation marks around the word food as in Taco Bell has the best fast “food” in the USA

they’ll probably wait until after christmas - and then start running a big ad campaign

at another chain, Taco Bueno, when i was young, i was once served a plate of nachos with a giant cock roach on top

A chinese restaurant once served me a plate of so-called “Combo #3″ and you could obviously tell it was nothing more than a skinned cat with a pair of chopsticks in its butt.

was it tasty and did it become your regular favorite there it is hard to find good chopstick-butt-cat

Turns out a cockroach on your food, or a dead cat on your plate often implies ill will against you as opposed to lack of knowledge on health code.

yes, i thought the same thing, except there were only two people working there at the time (it was late at night) and both were plainly visible as they put it together behind the counter… and they both had this totally shocked and aghast look on their faces which looked totally believable… one looked like they were going to vomit… so i decided it must have just gotten by somehow…

Now a bout of e coli… well that just means home boy didn’t wash after wiping on his shit break before scooping your meaty mush into your taco.

I don’t think that is always the case no SOS

yes, except that they traced it to tainted scallions

rond… If I worked at taco bell, I’d want to kill the customers too.

As the list of those sickened by a dangerous strain of E. coli called 0157:H7 grew, the focus of the investigation turned to Boskovich Farms in Oxnard, Calif., which grows the green onions, also known as scallions, for the supplier of Taco Bell.

with these outbreaks coming in from vegtables I am not even sure washing is totally safe

If you are losing faith in the human race, just go to taco bell… finish it off.

Like I was implying earlier there is a bigger problem further upstream

Boskovich, which began growing green onions on its farms 40 years ago, provided the green onions that led to a hepatitis outbreak that began at a Chi-Chi’s restaurant in Pennsylvania in 2003. so that same place with the green onions that caused the e-coli outbreak at taco bell is also responsible for the hepatitis outbreak at chichis in 2003 they have issues

as I have been saying…

yes but we do not care for facts we like to assign blame immediately and to whoever is the most visible

and I bet the problem is tied to illegal mexicans

lettuce makes good toilet paper … onions less so

or better put cheap labor attitudes in managment at the company

well… it’s not like you’re going to find they DONT use illegal mexicans on a giant farm… so… “tied to illegal mexicans” seems like a foregone conclusion regardless of their sanitary practices… that’s the difference between correlation and causality. bwell… it’s not like you’re going to find they DONT use illegal mexicans on a giant farm… so… “tied to illegal mexicans” seems like a foregone conclusion regardless of their sanitary practices… that’s the difference between correlation and causality./b

And janitorial services would appear to be the white guys job. :P

no sbarro is israeli food

All the alien would have seen is mexicans working there.

name a restaurant that doesn’t have mexicans in its kitchen it is implied

The chinese food place was the only accurate one… which is odd, big thing around here is chinese waiters but mexican cooks and everything else in chinese restaurants. Null_Ptr… well the McD’s only had eastern european transfer students… the blimpies only had black people… etc I’m telling you, that cafeteria was one fubar’d place. There was a predominantly this that or the other… each place was all this, all that, or all the other. Just like each and every table… all white, all latino, all chinese, etc. Felt like I stepped into the middle of somone’s race research project every day.

maybe it was

It seemed to improve as people got to know one another from their classes.

we will all just be sort of mid-yellow-brown eventually i dunno what the big deal is this ‘race’ thing is only valid before global transport and commerce now that we have those things, ‘race’ will go away within 10 or 20 generations and you won’t be able to tell ‘mongoloid’ etc even the most isolated groups will be all mixed up after 20 generations it is inevitable we are borg, resistance is futile

Seems like most people still stick to their own, generally. A lot more mutts will be out there for sure… but I don’t think there’ll be a single mish-mash race out of the deal.

of course there will be, you are just not looking far enough into the future i don’t mean a single mish-mash race in 10 years i mean a single mish-mash race after 400 years of global integration and if you lengthen the timeline to 4,000 years or 40,000 years… there’s just no question it would be patently absurd to think there will be races in 40,000 years no way in hell if humans are even still alive

It’d be like saying there are no red heads in the future. Only beige heads Some genes just don’t mix away. gotta run… schoo schoo school

The Nobel Peace-winning former president calls Israel the “tiny vortex around which swirl the winds of hatred, intolerance and bloodshed.” He also writes that Israelis believe they have the right to confiscate and colonize Palestinian land and try to justify the subjugation and persecution of increasingly hopeless and aggravated Palestinians and some Palestinians react by honoring suicide bombers as martyrs to be rewarded in heaven and consider the killin it is hard to be jimmy carter you don’t get no lubbin’ (AP) Lawmakers reached an agreement Thursday on legislation allowing U.S. shipments of civilian nuclear fuel to India, clearing the way for passage of a bill that overturns decades of American anti-proliferation policy. yes, non-proliferation is clearly a joke what’s the point of even pretending we will stop proliferation if we are smooching up to those who flaunt the rules and we are doing ZERO to stop north korea which is now testing nuclear weapons i dunno why we bother to pretend we aren’t for proliferation it’s like “we are against proliferation, unless you get away with it, in which case, we will sell you nuclear materials” this is not much of a moral high ground

I don’t think pragmatism is automatically wrong or less moral than idealistic adherence to something that doesn’t have any more proof of efficacy.

well i think to pretend we have these moral absolutes is hypocritical when we’re obviously so quick to disavow them when it suits us

That said, I don’t think that the *appearance* of pragmatism necessarily means there isn’t some agenda hiding behind it.

it would be better to just say up front there’s no absolute prohibition against proliferation because there obviously isn’t one all this time that we have been saying there is an absolute prohibition we have obviously been lying

The *pragmatic* requirements of diplomacy require putative absolutes.

and that makes us look bad in other words, lying

There is an an a priori reality and an ex post facto reality. Err Null_Ptr: “Lying” is something very hard to define, ultimately. If being “non-factual” is “lying” then truth is impossible.

i do not just mean we didn’t tell the whole truth we stated something as an absolute that we knew wasn’t one so we deliberately stated a falsehood

I am suggesting that it could very well be an absolute until something outside of our control changes things, then it is no longer possible to hold it as an absolute. The world changed, so the way that principle is reflected in the world changed. This is a theoretical discussion since people are also scoundrels.

so in other words, the message to those who want nuclear weapons is, all you have to do is get them and we will back down ie we aren’t serious and it is all just bullshit

Not quite. More like, it will depend on the situation and whether we have the strength to stop you. Look at it this way. If the approach was more like what you are suggesting, the likelyhood of a pre-emptive strike on someone like Iran goes up dramatically.

yes as it should we need to take them out and we need to have done it yesterday

I heard a reasonable argument for Soviet-era style containment. For *waiting* while containing the problem. And its historical efficacy.

i heard that mary cheney now has picked a name for her baby halle middle name burton JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert disagreed Thursday with assertions by the Iraq Study Group that tie the fate of efforts to stabilize Iraq to progress in resolving the Israeli-Arab conflict. In his first public response to the recommendations of the U.S. bipartisan commission, Olmert said he rejected any “attempt to create a linkage between the Iraqi issue and that of the Middle East.”

Some Kurdish official went off on it, too.

In Iraq, the report’s call for a regional conference unnerved Kurds and Shias, who feared that it would be used as a pretext to strip back the power they have won since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein. The Shia elite worries that such a conference would be used by neighbouring Sunni Arab nations to reshape the country. Their fears appeared justified as the country’s Sunni minority gave the report a more favourable response. The report called for direct US negotiations with Iran to help to stabilise Iraq. An Iranian official expressed exasperation that the only “carrot” offered by the panel to Tehran was “no regime change”. The chances of Iran agreeing to help the US in Iraq appear slim. that’s the understatement of the year

That piece of shit Iraq Study Group needs to go the fuck away. James A. Baker III needs to go back to the Rice University. And Shut the fuck up

yes who does bush think he is appointing this presidential commission to give him recommendations

There Recommendations where already there !

learn english fuckwit and quit randomly capitalizing stuff that has gotten old

I am proud of Israel telling James A. Baker the IIIrd to fuck off of there cahones. And shut the fuck up.

speaking of learn engrish… Right now we are absolutely sure that we cannot manage this task alone. Only our yang age and lack of experience makes possible to spend our efforts on its development in the nearest past. It is just tiresome for us to let this system to die. http://www.pushok.com/soft_short_info.php

% News Flash, Econ Data % November Data; Jobs +132k; 4.5% unemployment rate b% News Flash, Econ Data % November Data; Jobs +132k; 4.5% unemployment rate/b

heh… Europe has 50% unemployment in some areas

EU contries ? or eastern europe ?

yep EU

which ones ?

Germany and France so far eventually, it will be across the whole EU

see this is one thing I despise about Europeans

the UK is a little better off

a Swiss guy comes in here and argues Amerika sucks…your this or that look at these stats…. your 21st in the world

rond… http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Paper+Cutout+European

well 19 of those 21 are piss ant countries like the swiss the US can only compared to the EU not any one country

Switzerland may not be so badd off as the rest of Europe

yeah well the same for many states here in the US

they make money using money….

its the bad states that drag the US down on any given metric

but overall…Europe is in some serious trouble

and to compare the US to one EU country is pretty stupid

it can’t be done

they do

scope that url rond lol

and the do not give up on it

I think its what you mean

bingo cry

Hi

I have argued with those types for a long time

Anyone from Ohio have any feedback regarding the smoking ban

smoking bans are stupid… they should also then institute a drinking ban…just as stupid

2nd hand alcohol fumes certainly noxious are id rather smell smoke, personally

there..I just defined communard both drugs…both a open choice for adults… one is no better or worse then the other oh they want to ban smoking from the movies too I hear…ok…ban drinking too shit…items stuck in customs….the seller should hve put a better description on goods

I hate going into any place where there is 2nd hand smoke I am one who is very happy with the smoking bans I have lived half of my adult life with second hand smoke looks like I can live the other half without it

morning Katy objects to mosque; neighbor threatens pig races

Katey ?

Tx outside of Houston KATY, Texas — A plan to build a mosque in this Houston suburb has triggered a neighborhood dispute, with community members warning that the place will become a terrorist hotbed and one man threatening to hold pig races on Fridays just to offend the Muslims.

Ahh never heard of it Don’t blame him sounds like a good idea pig feast change to serving pig at october fest

i wonder if that guy still has his white hood

$th of july etc er 4th American muslims do not have a very good history of denouncing terrorism within the world wide community

showin’ the world that texans are good, tolerant people

er world wide muslim community they have brought upon there own heads universal distrust Just like the mexicans are bringing upon their own heads national distrust by not speaking out more clearly on illegal mexican immigration in the US

hai

are you in South Carolina ?

nop! Delaware. Using an HTML irc client (CGI IRC)

is that HTML irc using a South Carolina sc.res.rr.com address ?

yes

well if that’s the case, its guys like this that make me think that white people are racists

all people are racist including you to some extent

good morning everyone

illegal mexican immigration and the mexican american support of it is not a rascist issue

how’s tricks this morning?

same with muslims and terrorism you know that or your stupider than I already thought you were

good morning.

Morning comet, TV_

hi tv rond

hey hey, forgot the coffee doing Earl Grey today.

my husband is a tea freak .. he loves it. He was happy as can be in china .. lol you get the most wonderful tea there .. incredible

I do believe that.

The dispute began when the group asked Baker to remove his cattle from their newly bought land. Baker agreed but mistakenly thought the Muslims also wanted him off the land his family has lived on more than 100 years. Baker’s attempt to offend missed its mark, according to Fotouh. Muslims do not hate pigs, he said; they just don’t eat them.

My best friend’s wife is from Fujian Provance.

oy…the Hatfields and the Mohammeds

And she has had the most interesting teas.

even shopping .. for example, we were at the pottery factory .. and our feet were killing us because we had been shopping in the new territories all day. They took us into a sitting room to rest, and she brought us tea.

Been shopping at the local Oriental Market for them. I have gotten lucky with 2 brands.

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful that tea was. My husband closed his eyes and was just in heaven.

heheh

I asked her what it was, and she said it was her own blend. The mixture had been handed down in her family, and they grow the tea leaves themselves.

Hear at work I and one other partner are looking for that “perfect” tea pot. CometBaby niiiice.

tvi .. the way they make it in china is very very different.

So I have heard.

they serve it in those little clay pots .. they put the tea in, then fill it with hot water. Then they pour hot water all over the top of the pots to heat them .. the clay absorbs the heat. They steep for just so long and are served immediately.

wow. Black teas steep for 3min max. I think. Just moved into new house. Have tons o new space to start getting the propper pots and room to store a few more teas to keep on hand.

I get Chinese *gunpowder* tea online, I love it.

I have heard that was good.

It’s not very expensive either, $18 I think, with the shipping. 2 lbs

Wesly Snipes arrested at Orlando Airport, on tax fraud charges… He says he is inocent. cool.

weee, we got another one :-)

coffeebeandirect.com I think

I am looking for a Tea ball.

Another one what? Tea ball? To steep it?

yeah. Wait, not he ones in supermarket.

I don’t use those, I steep it for 6 minutes and put it through a strainer, I make it by the gallon so I can have it cold.

I wanna do two and three cup batches.. hrm new tea pot. yeah.

mmmm, ice tea

hehe, breakfast was leftovers from last night’s dinner. Just finnished up.

I also add 2 crushed cardomon pods, 4 cloves, some cinnamon, 4 allspice pods

TheTailor yeah, why the cardomon.

Beautiful taste

I has stared adding powdered cinnamon, cause for health reasons.

Cardomon is the second most expensive spice, great stuff

No arsenal … is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women.

to your gun powder tea?

I always liked tea, but when it became clear it’s antioxidant property was important… TV_, yep, in the end it becomes a chai tea…

same same..that is what I think as well now.

there used to be a restuarant here in CO named The Harvest, and they made the best spiced iced tea. didnt even need sugar. but you couldnt drink it too late in the evening, or you couldnt sleep

When I get my act together I will ask you for your recipe to try out.

antioxidant is a powerful marketing buzzword

Tea on it’s own doesn’t impress me as to taste, I don’t have a refined palate I guess.

you have an act? cool

onebox, sure, if you believe your Cheerio’s have antioxidants :-)

Cheerios are one of the healthiest things you can eat in the world

TV_, oh, and 5-6 cloves too

seriously

onebox, haha, of course they are! Battle Creek says so!

onebox yeah, I know that there is new science questioning some found in salmon, but I don’t know if they are debunking the intire notion of what anitoxidents do. maybe not salmon.. ah er some food.

TheTailor, the fact that you chose Cheerios to denigrate is hilarious considerint that they are the only breakfast cereal PROVEN to reduce chances of a heart attack

Oatmeal Rules!

t=g

5 grain oatmeal. Geane Kirkpatrick is dead!!! Nooo. I liked her. well she was 80. But still.

all that oat stuff is great. anything whole grain beats what weve been eating for the last half century. high frutcose corn syrup, palm kernel oil, “enriched” (stripped) wheat first 3 ingredients in 98% of food at the supermarket make that partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil

Since moving to new house I have time to cook and eat homemade food.

onebox, yes! Cheerio’s will prevent heart attack! With their high antioxidant content! And one gram of fiber per box!

I have lost 15 pounds over a month or so. And I eat well.

TV_, wow, that’s pretty good, how?

http://www.heraldonline.com/109/story/9901.html

TheTailor, youre just talking out your ass. I get it now. Hardy har

Are you exercising?

i eat very well and look like a statue

Like one of thow statues in Rome?

yup, but i need a bit more definition in my back

Being and ex Pizza / Pasta shop owner in south philly. I still love to eat and cook. no not yet.

i dont like lat work and it shows Philly is the fattest city in America last time i heard

I eat pizza, once a year.

the new liberal leader in Canada flip flops more then John Kerry

No way More than Kerry?

no i’m serious he did it twice in two days

That has to be a record!

my new oven will let me use a stone, it has really high temps. so I am going to start with whole wheat and other grains for the dough and start from there.

right on TV_ cheap, delicious, fun and very healthy making your own bread is a great lifestyle addition

hmmm….*very healthy*, I don’t know about that

I am loving these olive oil breads.

A high fiber dough is good, I guess…

ameicans eat too many starches

Olive oil would be good

TheTailor yeah, but for me it has to have a taste that makes it worth eating.

is it TheTailor it is starch is refined carbs in my dictionary

But the cheese is going to kill the *healthy* aspect.

i eat lots and lots of carbs, but no starches

onebox box same here. I just watch the starches.

one, you need all of it, so everything in moderation is the deal.

i just try to eat the stuff my body was made to eat

You don’t remove carbs, that would be a bad diet.

and that is hard to do in this country

If I have a load o starches, I cut down on the amount of cals for that day.

Or starch, or fat

But generally I heat more protein , lean protein, than I do carbs.

low saturated fats of course are recommended

hehe, heat I mean eat.

The fat content in stuff like pepperoni is pretty high

Oh, yeah.

i try to get alot of calories from protein pepperoni is like 75% fat cals

ouch.

it is lard + salt bascially

welcome to “Men’s Health”

Ask OcDoc, he knows everything!

hehe

I wish

Ask the doc.

who eats more healthy democrats or republicans?

my approach to diet is “Ugh … me eat!”

haha

neither one

You you….ugly American!

Republicans eat alot of red meat

hehe

onebox, i DON’T Damn caps lock

they have sharper teeth ive noticed

what a stupid comment

Parents being from GA, BBQ and Fried Foods was on our table in one form or another, as a kid.

republicans eat more meatloaf

onebox, you will regret saying that when we rip you to shreds

Democrats eat wheat grass and puffed rice

*chomp*

and drink decaf soy lattes

since most blacks vote democrate… are you sure about that…

Yes, grazing, with the heard

don’t forget the bean curd and sprouts

spikenard and mexicans

Meatloaf… the other night I went to a taven, and after backing thier meatloaf, they would put it on the grill, get the grill marks and added a little flavor and served it up with gravey. Tasted great.

I can’t see hispanics eating a lot of wheat grass

hehe

No they eat a lot of meat

alot of lard

I hate lard.

although I do find it very interestign that when I say democrate I think of the masses and he thinks of the leadership…

i like it when i dont know the food contains it, TV_

Little Debbies were made with lard… I like Philly Taste Kakes.

“the masses” … heh

Lard makes my tongue feel like it is coated with grease.

lard is good eats

did you all hear about the new CBC production tv series “Little Mosque on the Prairie”?

I can feel it sliding down.

there is artificial lard in everything these days now instead

the humorous side of a muslim family trying to settle in Canada

partially hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oil

spikenard pork fat rules, I don’t know about lard. hehe

i’d rather have real lard than fake lard myself

lard = poison

I am NOT making this up

OcDoc oh man you have got to post a lin, link.. That is funny.
